Another business travel cost?

It’s been a big week for budget airline Ryanair – first it divided opinion by letting us text and make mobile calls mid-air and now it’s looking at charging customers who want to spend a penny during a flight.

Chief executive Michael O’Leary told the BBC that the Dublin-based carrier was looking at maybe installing a “coin slot on the toilet door”. In these cash-strapped days, it could make even the shortest trip feel like an uncomfortable lifetime.

Flying is big for businesses and lot is still spent on corporate travel. Would a loot for the loo policy change your view on whether to buy from a low cost airline?

  1. Why why why, could you image the change you would have to carry if you were travelling with children?
I guess airline are looking for a certain market, hardcore budget travellers, business people, backpackers; and children and older people (especially older women) aren’t included. The demo with children and older people must be more expensive to accommodate.
