Purchasing in Africa

This evening I travel to Africa to meet with buyers and attend a number of conferences, including the annual pan African IPSA conference.
My travels will take me to Zambia, South Africa and Namibia and I hope to get a real sense of what the purchasing profession is like on the continent.
I will be posting regular blogs in the next two weeks and my trip will be covered extensively in the pages of SM later this year.
But to give me a better idea of what you would like to read, I welcome your input. What do you want to know about procurement in Africa?
