Are you a public sector buyer with an urge to voice your thoughts in microblog form? Yes you cry, well now you can benefit from government advice for Twitter users.
The new 20-page report suggests tweets should be timely, frequent and credible, offering insights into the mechanics of government.
The Guardian estimates that the 5,382-word guidelines, translate into 36,215 characters and spaces and would need roughly 259 separate tweets to publish on Twitter.
On a serious note, the social networking site could be an excellent way to advertise contracts to SMEs, or perhaps openly praise the performance of suppliers and staff.
