A right load of twits
If you do a quick search for “procurement” on Twitter, you’ll find a number of tweets which will not be music to the ears of most purchasing professionals.
Comments such as “trying to avoid the procurement police”, “procurement giving me a damn headache” and “bloody procurement paperwork” are among those that probably wouldn’t be shouted out across the office, but seemingly thought acceptable by their authors to be posted on the web to a global audience.
(Although to redress the balance I have seen one today that says: “Procurement training today. As you might expect it is awesome!”)
We’ve already seen a few people get into trouble over their twitter posts, so it is yet another timely reminder of the risks inherent in using sites like this to tell people what you are really thinking.
So be careful out there in the world wide web, and don’t forget to check out our twitter page while you are at it.
