Judgement Day

15 June 2012 |
Posted in: Careers, General

Rebecca Ellinor, managing editor, Supply ManagementThe first judging debate day takes place at Supply Management Towers today and I’m very much looking forward to meeting up with the other judges to see how our assessments compare.

This is the first round, in which we determine who makes it on to the shortlist in the nine team and two individual categories.

This year’s chair of judges is Paula Gildert, head of development, strategic sourcing at Novartis Pharma and current CIPS vice-president. She will be joined by John Fernau, head of procurement at last year’s overall winner the Olympic Delivery Authority, and a selected panel of other senior purchasing professionals.

The shortlist will revealed on Supply Management on Thursday and winners will be announced at the gala dinner on 12 September at Grosvenor House Hotel.

BravoSolution is the headline sponsor of the event. MasterCard and Hays Procurement are also sponsors. And QinetiQ Commerce Decisions is the official technology provider for the judging.

•    Go to CIPS SM awards for more information or email Charlotte Bogaert or call +44 (0) 20 7324 2764 to book your table for this year’s gala dinner on 12 September
